Role Description:
*Work closely with founders and other stakeholders to design and deliver cutting edge media buying, revenue optimization and other innovative data products.
*Grow and manage a talented team that is dedicated to building data driven solutions that have a measurable impact across all parts of the company by aiding strategic product, content and marketing decisions.
*Establish and implement best practices of communication, QA, coding and documentation.
*Recruit additional professionals and mentor the entire team to follow best practices, enhance collaboration and increase productivity.
*Lead processes of choosing and integrating new technologies and platforms.

Desired Skills and Experience:
*Degree in computer science or related quantitative field of study. Masters degree preferred.
*6+ years of experience in software development with a major modern language (e.g. Java, Scala, Python, etc.).
*3+ years of team leadership and recruiting.
*Strong understanding of data structures and data architecture.
*Data science experience from a media or entertainment company within a big-data environment – an advantage.
