What you will do:
• Create reports for monitoring performance and to support performance optimization
• Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests to effect positive change
• Investigate data to identify and understand anomalies and to develop solutions
• Assist in improving the one of the company’s sophisticated performance optimization algorithms
• Collect, analyze and present insights and resulting action items

Your background and skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or other related field required
• 2+ years’ relevant experience in a business intelligence/business analyst/data analyst/statistical analysis role
• Familiarity with digital media, or in particular Facebook campaigns/content recommendations platforms – an advantage
• Advanced working knowledge of data mining using SQL, Excel, Google Analytics, and Tableau
• Python, R – an advantage
• Superior quantitative and statistical sense, good working knowledge of experimental design
• Proven problem solving skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills

General:
Content IQ is a data-driven, fast-growing, dynamic digital publishing company.
We are looking for a Media Buyer to join our Audience Development team, based in New York City. We hope it’s you!
As a Media Buyer you will be an important part of the Audience Development team; you will be in charge of campaign launches and optimizations, experimenting with new platforms and more.

Role Description:

  • Creating and executing paid media campaigns across channels such as: Facebook, Taboola, Outbrain, Yahoo etc.
  • Analyzing, recording and trouble-shooting performance data
  • Making campaign management decisions with high spend campaign budgets
  • Experiment with new platforms and channels
  • Monitor costs and return on investment (ROI)
  • Working closely with product management and data science teams to develop operational efficiencies, processes, documentation and more. 
  • Working with the digital technology team to build optimization tools and processes
  • Scale daily spend and develop new acquisition channels
  • Delivering a positive Return on Advertising Investment (ROAI). 
  • Some off hours work required as part of the role


Desired Skills and Experience:

 

  • 1-3 years of proven experience in media buying: managing high scale campaigns on Facebook, Taboola, Outbrain and/or Gemini.
  • High-level excel / Google sheets (3 years+); knowledge of SQL – a plus

Role Description:
We are looking for an Ad Technology/ Systems Product Manager to drive and manage high-profile projects related to the rollout of ad products and capabilities. This is a cross-functional role that will include aspects of program management, product management, ad operations, and technical systems management.

The ideal candidate has strong experience managing product in the online advertising ecosystem, as well as proven success in operating as a liaison with cross-functional stakeholders in Product, Engineering and Ad Technology teams. He/she will establish best practices for streamlined ad delivery, distill complicated ad tech issues into meaningful and actionable components, and have strong familiarity with the requirements to enable new ad products, within ad serving systems.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of industry experience in analytics, product management, project management and/ or related disciplines.
  • 2+ years of product management experience in Ad-tech and/or Ad operations using industry-standard ad serving vendors.
  • Strong understanding of the ad tech landscape and best practices around its architecture
  • Proven experience monitoring critical metrics including viewability, click-through rates, invalid traffic, malware.
