Role Description:

Utilizing advanced media measurement and optimization, you will be responsible for driving optimal financial return on the company’s marketing investment. Working closely with major stakeholders, your team will run media campaigns with millions of dollars in monthly spend, applying proprietary measurement techniques to assess their true impact, all while driving the continued innovation of our internal analytics platform that is the key to driving our business growth. 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in building, designing, and working with data tools

Data, Product Manager

New York, NY/ Remote. Full Time

We are looking for a proactive and analytical, data-driven Data, Product Manager to join our team based in New York City, and work as a full-time On-Site/ Remote Product Manager. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring we continue to create quality and innovative solutions while capturing, collecting, analyzing, and acting upon gigabytes of data in real-time, aiding the continued business growth and success of the company.

In this role and as part of the company’s Data department based in NY, you will work to create and clarify technical needs from various departments/ stakeholders. You’ll detail requirements, define, add and prioritize to the Data team’s work backlog while working in collaboration with stakeholders. You will also work closely with the development teams (NY and in several locations outside of the US); you’ll be overseeing (conducting when necessary) QA to ensure the developed items satisfy requirements and function properly within the Data team and within the Company’s standards and internal processes.

Role Description:

  • Create and Clarify Product Requirements from Stakeholders.

  • Prioritize Created Items on Development Backlog.
  • Work with Developers in understanding requirements as well as ensuring deliverable meets requirements and quality assurance standards.
  • Work with the development team leads to clarify item scope, estimate effort, and prioritize in line with overall resources and company expectations.
  • Gather requirements from other teams of items, systems, or reports that would be beneficial. Be proactive in converting requirements into projects, systems, or regular reports (in line with reporting processes).
  • Have an understanding of data, data systems, analysis, and limitations/benefits of reporting and data analysis.
  • Be/Become familiar with the digital advertising advertising ecosystem – publishers, ad serving platforms, DSPs, ad exchanges, audience measurement, third-party verification and various monetization types such as display, video advertising, native and more.
  • Organize projects, and features into unified systems to prevent redundancy or underuse.
  • Add to the overall documentation of the system, features, and processes.
  • Document and summarize complicated technical features in a clear and accessible way.
  • Take initiative to investigate technical issues within the data domain and suggest recommendations.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of industry experience in analytics, product management, project management and/or related disciplines.
  • 1+ years of experience in product management of a project/product with heavy data components.
  • Experience and understanding of SQL or related DB technology.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Experience and understanding of  AGILE methodology and processes.
  • Experience using JIRA, Monday or a similar project management tool.
  • Experience with Bitbucket or other Central Source Code repository systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven, and analytical candidate to work at one of the fastest and most talented media buying teams in the industry. They will work with and report directly to the Director of Media Buying.

They will have the responsibility to develop a traffic acquisition strategy on Google Display Network from the ground up, leveraging our highly engaging editorial content to drive high value users to our portfolio of websites, with the goal of driving maximum profit.

Role Description:

  • Develop strategy to launch the company’s activity on Google Display Network.
  • Create and execute paid media campaigns.
  • Constantly A/B test different buying methodologies in order to craft the most profitable process possible.
  • Work closely with the product and data teams to leverage automation to scale all proven high value processes.
  • Work closely with the editorial and creatives teams to maximize content CTR while making sure we’re compliant with policy at all times.
  • Oversee the analysis, recording, and trouble-shooting of performance data in our systems on a daily basis.
  • Liaise and build relationships with our account managers.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years in Media Buying roles in one or more of the following sectors: content marketing, publishing, online advertising/e-commerce, ad tech, and marketing.
